Setup Help:
No Family's Choice Icon

If there is no Family's Choice Icon, you can create one.

In Windows:
Go to:
My Computer
Dial Up Networking
Click on "Make New Connection"

Which brings up the following dialog box:

At the "Make New Connection" screen (above), enter  "Family's Choice Internet" where it says "Type a name for the computer you are dialing", (by default it says "New Connection" - just type over that) and make sure your modem is showing where it indicates "Select a Modem"
Click Next>

At the next screen (above) enter the Phone Number (If you don't have a  dial in number near you, click here to view dialup numbers, or call Technical Support (847 689 9550) for assistance.
Click Next>



You're Done.
Click Finish to Complete

You should now have the Family's Choice Icon in your Dialup Networking folder, along with "Make New Connection"

To put the icon on the desktop, drag it there, and answer yes to the question in the dialog box if you get it. (see below)

Click yes to make a shortcut on your desktop.

This icon will allow you to dial into Family's Choice Internet. Once you're dialed in, start the application you want to use (Browser[Netscape or Internet Explorer] to surf, email (Outlook Express or Netscape Messenger], chat [Instant Messenger], etc.)
