| Milwaukee police showed up at that
location at the set time and so did Tatar, a senior vice president at the Bank of America
in Illinois. |
ACCORDING TO THE CRIMINAL complaint, Tatar joined a chat
room called I Love Much Older Men. In that same chat room was a Milwaukee
police detective posing as a 13-year-old girl. Police said Tatar, thinking he was talking to the young girl, suggested that the two meet on Wednesday at the Midway Hotel or Dennys Restaurant along Howell Avenue for illicit sex acts. Milwaukee police showed up at that location at the set time and so did Tatar, a senior vice president at the Bank of America in Illinois. According to the criminal complaint, Tatar admitted to police he did chat with a young girl online earlier in the week and that he did intend to meet with her at the hotel or restaurant. Tatars co-workers at his office in Chicago were in disbelief Friday, hoping a terrible mistake had been made. Tatar has never served time behind bars in Illinois. If convicted on the charge of child enticement, he could end up spending up to 30 years in prison in Wisconsin. As of early Friday evening, Tatar was still in the Milwaukee County Jail. His bail was set at 20,000 but later reduced to $1,000. |
